Two down...

This evening we visited Yo Sushi in Farringdon, London. Flick had travelled down to stay at mine for the weekend so I met her at Waterloo station after I finished work. A train journey and short walk later we had arrived at the Farringdon branch. We had been here recently and really enjoyed it. We rated it as probably our favourite branch so far!

Today's visit though didn't seem quite as good as our first. It was only a couple of minor things that let it down though. The first assorted nigiri I picked up off the belt had expired and the hairy prawns didn't taste quite as good as usual. Other than that though, everything was great as usual. My new thing tried today was not actually a dish, but Sapporo beer. It was a hot day and when I saw a couple drinking them on the table opposite us, they looked very refreshing. It was alright but not quite worth the price.

The adventure begins...

Today we visited Yo Sushi in Cabot Circus, Bristol. We set out on a beautiful Saturday morning and made the 1.5 hour drive from Yeovil to Bristol. By the time we got there and did a bit of shopping, we had worked up an appetite. So off we went to Yo Sushi to satisfy our cravings and enjoy a delicious lunch. It was quite busy inside but we were quickly seated and there was plenty of plates on the belt. We had our usual dishes and decided to try something new, as we always do when we visit. Today it was the Duck Handroll and boy was it a good choice. It was tasty, easy-to-eat and definitely something we'll be having regularly from now on.

First blog

Flick and I love Yo Sushi. Ever since our first visit (out of curiousity), we've been addicted. So much so that whenever we travel anywhere, we'll make sure to find out if there's a Yo Sushi there. We love it so much that we're taking the crazy idea of visiting every branch in the country seriously.

The plan is to get photos of us eating at all the branches. I'll also be scanning receipts as evidence! We haven't given ourselves a specific timeframe to achieve this within though.

At the time of writing this, we've already visited 9 branches: Birmingham, Cardiff, Essex, Farringdon, Market Place, Paddington Station, St Pauls, Trocadero and Victoria Station. But these visits weren't part of our adventure so we'll have to revisit them and get some photos.
